OK I just did that and the answer to the Race is still YES!You & your Girlfriend (is that really your GirlFriend)don't know as much as you think you do.I have had the car a few months now,so you can just Bet your *** I may not know everything about the Body styles but when it comes to the engine & running gear.I know all that's needed,plus have the friends to help.Now the Laugh is on you.
PS That is what I wanted this Vette for a Fun car to drive and Grudge Race.Before I got it I already knew what changes I would be making to it.And by you knowing the car you know it was an extra nice car and not only Fast but had most everything needed to take it to the next level.You won't believe how un-real Fast it is now with just a few changes.And I am learning more & more everyday.And I am more than willing to try and help & share information with my fellow Vette owners on here.Now you know I have made changes to the car and there will be no excuse at the last minute.With that being said I'm more than Happy to stick with the Bet of $1,000.00 or more per round best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5.

There is one set of chrome wheels, and one set of black & chrome that I really like, but they're both in the $5,000 range.
It's not that I can't afford them, because I can.
It's just that I cannot for the life of me, see myself spending that kind of money on wheels.
I trip to Alaska for a few weeks, yup.
A road trip to Glacier National Park, and the Grand Canyon, a drive through Phantom Canyon in the Colorado Rockies, absolutely!
But wheels nah.
