My friend just bought a C7 last week and we took them to lunch to make a few pulls. Quite a bit of traffic so we couldn't really get any good pulls in. Races were stupid even and just kept going back and forth with each other. My c6 has long tubes, intake, mufflers and tune. Made 390 hp/tq.




Heres a vid of my car running with some others a few weeks ago. The Mach Mustang ran an 11.9, so I was pretty happy to stick like that with him

Looks like a good matchup. C7 looked like it may have barely been pulling. Hard to tell on such a short run.

One guy went 11.49 and another 11.6 bone stock. I think that would qualify as "hanging" with a stock c6 zo6.

that's BS. I raced a stock c7 over TX2K14. Still waiting for the guy to send me the video. My car just has CAI and removed mufflers and I waxed his ***.

Well,if your LS2 with those mods can hang like that with a stock C7,any LS3 with those ods should beat it nicely.Kind of not apples to apples because it's modded v.stock but what the hell.Nice video.

The C7 is a whole different and better machine. It's like when then C6 came out all the C5 boys were posting vids of them keeping up or beating the C6. Their C5 was modded of course. I love my 05 I got the same mods as you OP, but a modded car vs bone stock not even broken in is not apples to apples.

Just saying within a year the 6oth annivesary grand sport will be more valuable than the C 7 ,especially if GM doesn't bring out a C 7 GS .

Well given that the C7 are putting down a little over 400hp to the tires stock, I feel i held my own pretty good. I think next time I def need to start in 2nd and I will pull a lot harder on him.

I have raced an LS3 with mufflers, intake and tune and put a few links on him from a few different rolls. My car is very impressive for what it is.
