you want to stay with the 305/30/19 the 35 will make your T/C and ABS unhappy
305 is the widest youll want to run on a 10" wide wheel.
i run hankook ventus v12 on mine 305/30/19 car is low as possible and the wheels have 1/4" spacers to make them flush with the fenders/qaurters no rubbing , no problems

I had some 305/3019 Nitto Invos on my car in the past without any problems. The problem is that while there are tons of 305/30r19 tires out there, its pretty slim pickins for 305/35r19.
Smurfkiller, why would running the same height tire as stock, but wider cause any problems with ABS and TC?

It's not the same height as stock.
thats the problem i see alot people dont truly understand what the numbers meen.
305 width in millimeters/ 30 side wall height as percentage of the width of the tire/ ZR speed rating/ 19 wheel diameter.
so yes 35 is same number as stock tires but since these tires are 20mm wider its a greater percentage meaning the sidewall is taller.
305/30/19 26.3" diameter , 305/25/19 27.4 diameter , stock 285/35/19 26.8 diameter
hope this helps some of you understand

I just went through this and found that tires vary so much in actual width that I just said screw it and went with the stock sizes (plus it saved me about $350). I want different wheels any way so I'll get new tires then.
I think the safe rule of thumb is a 295 out back because tires vary physically in size.....one man's 305 is another man's 295.
Plenty of folks on here have ran 305's with no issues from what I gathered. I just got tired of comparing and calculating.
Tire Rack has some great info on tread width, wheel width and all that.

now you could certainly run a 305/35/19 on the rear, but either you would prob have to turn T/C off ever time you get in the car
or you could run a taller tire in front as well.
the ABS and T/C act up when you change the ratio of size difference between front and rear tires.
you change the height difference to much , you change the amount of revolutions per mile the wheel speed sensors then think the rear tires are spinning and start to activate the T/C or it thinks the front wheels are locking up and trys to activate the ABS.

very true which i still dont understand how can measurements vary? how wide is your tire , how is there not a standard way to measure this?

Thanks Smurfkiller, I completely forgot height was the ratio.
Why would going up 0.6" in diameter from stock mess up TC or ABS, but going down 0.6" in diameter from stock not?

(Mine are stock sizes though)
Just got them last week, replaced some Michelin AS Plus RF's with the V-12's

you would think it would be the same , but i guess going smaller stays within the window of size difference allowed between front and rear and going larger puts it on the edge and could upset everything. im not 100% totally sure it will. i know before i changed mine i look and everyone was running 305/30/19 no probs so that what i went with.
