I don't think so. Here's what the 2006 order guide says:

Sound system with Navigation, ETR
AM/FM stereo with CD player and MP3
playback, (U65) Sound system feature, Bose
premium 7-speaker system, DVD navigation
with GPS, 6.5" LCD color display touch
screen, voice recognition, includes Radio
Data System, seek-and-scan, digital clock,
auto-tone control, automatic volume and
TheftLock
1 - Replaces 6-disc, in dash CD changer with
single-disc CD.
2 - Includes upgrade to (U65) Sound system
feature, Bose premium 7-speaker system and
(U2K) Sound system feature, XM Satellite
Radio.
Also found this in the 2009 order guide:

NEW! Bluetooth for phone, personal cell phone connectivity to
vehicle audio system and HMI (Human Machine Interface), with
specific steering wheel controls
So, I'd say it wasn't available for 2006.

No, but there is an aftermarket bluetooth setup from a company called CoStar that uses the wiring harness and plugs from the onstar that interfaces with your nav and allows you to make hands free calls through the car nav, microphone and speakers. It works with the onstar buttons on the mirror. Obviously you have to have onstar installed in your car. I installed it about a year ago and it works great. The only thing is it disables onstar and your navagation voice control, neither of which I used anyway. CoStartech.com

Great Thanks for the info. Just picked up a pristine condition 06 vert with 23,000 miles. Might just upgrade to a Kenwood DDX790
