Speaking of GQ's.....took mine out late yesterday afternoon for the first time since last May. Although it was only a short trip to the beach and back sans top it was like getting into a new car. It had been so long that I needed to have the XM signal refreshed. 6173.

That's not really the case here in the Northern part of the state, only time we see a lot of out of state plates is on 95. They're all going further on down the line which is ok with me. Took a ride down along the beach today on 1A with the top off, OUTSTANDING!

Mine was really dusty. So backed it out in the rain under a
tree. If that big limb were to come down, it would be the
push need to get that C7.

Im up in the northeast as well and can't wait to drive her today for the first time since I've bought her. 100mph? Wow you are being too easy on her hehehe.... Don't mind billy boy, his prius is in service.

Oh and I've been on 80 a million times and yes there's no traffic in the middle of the night, although there are better places to open up.

As crummy as this winter has seemed here in Atl.....I never really have to go more than a week with weather so bad that I cant go for a fun run/topless....

Don't know if I would have a C6 if I lived too far north & I had to store it for 3-4 months of the year.... that would make me crazy.....

Took mine out, too. I had run some errands earlier in the day and was on most of the same roads I'd be taking the Vette on and they weren't too bad. A few puddles but no potholes. So I drove about 10 miles to a nearby beach town and went for a 3-mile stroll on the boardwalk. It actually got up to 58 degrees here yesterday--but they're predicting SNOW for Wednesday and Thursday! When will this winter end??!!!!!!!

its amazing, most of the negative comments come from the ny and nj area, hhmmmm. i live her in ne pa. and we get most slimeball drivers from your area up here that we complain about. even my daughter moved from this area to get away from you clowns that visit. i've never seen so much disregard for traffic laws until i see the car has a ny or nj plate on it. thats why i have my house up for sale, its almost like paterson here when you folks visit.

My sympathies to you guys that have to deal with winter weather. If I don't drive my vette for two weeks I have withdrawals. Although my GS is only a weekend car bought last August, it already has 7,000 miles on the clock. Here's wishing that springtime arrives soon for you guys!

When I'm on the GSP I always nail it going up the Driscoll Bridge...6 lanes in each direction. What a hoot!

And you think no traffic laws are broken in by PA drivers?

Just wait until I get my car back together. Got about 10 gallons of methanol to use up and a new BOV that will need a thorough test.

no doubt. look, all i did was to express my opinion on one persons recklessness on a major highway that could have been catastrophic and i'm getting bombarded with other clowns that think its ok. i was brought up to drive in a courteous manner and respect other drivers. i would like to think there are others out there like me. i didn't buy my vette to drive like an idiot and to zoom around others that are driving in a lawful manner. there are those on the forum that have enough sense to track their vehicles when they have the "need for speed." i'm not going to lie and say i've never hit the gas a little hard at times, but never 20 miles over the speed limit, let alone 45 or more. on rt. 80 i've had it up to 80 mph in a 65 mhp zone. ther are parts of 80 where the speed limit is at 50 mph. never would i do 100! to each his own, you want to drive like an idiot, be my guest.
