Default Side View Mirror

Sorry if this is repeated but cannot find my earlier post. I cannot figure out why my right side rear view mirror does not tilt down when in reverse. Thanks

Lisa I am truly surprised. I cannot think of another car whose mirror does not tilt down when in reverse. Sure seems like it would be easy to scratch the crap out of our wheels when backing into a parking spot !!

If you have the memory you can set memory 2 with the right side mirror tilted down, then you can just hit 2 when you want to back up

Huh, I've never seen this tilting down in reverse, but I don't own any cars newer than my 2007 C6, so maybe it's common in newer cars?? Sounds like a neat idea though....

my 2010 Lacrosse has it - you can turn the feature on and off as well

I've had two Yukons with that feature. Turned it off on both I'd rather see what is on the side than on the ground and after 40 years of driving I've learned where my rear wheels are.......... But if you like it you can, as suggested, use MEM2.
