Default New Corvette owners *dont do*

I'm a new owner of a 2005 C6 and although it's not my first rear wheel drive V8, it is my first Corvette. With that being said here's a lil something NOT to do when you get in your new or even old Corvette haha: do not turn off the TC and decide that it's a good idea to approach a corner, downshift to first (A4) and get on it with cold tires on a dew covered road at 6 am. Just saying.

Respect the Horse Power don't ever think your skill level is equal to the performance level of your car...... because that's when you get into big time trouble

I've been around musclecars most of my life before buying our 2005 Corvette. Not that this makes me any perfect driver. The rule has always been, "Aim before you shoot. There are lots of Youtube videos of guys coming out of shows and gunning it before the car is straight on the road and they invariably slam the curb or worse, hit cars, walls and ditches. Even worse, people get whacked. It takes some careful experience to learn what your car will do when it breaks loose. Things happen awfully quickly, especially when you are not expecting it.

Well at least you are honest and have a sense of humor.

Always take time to learn in any new situation.

Something that I learned very early on in childhood....

See, watch, think and do cautiously till understood.

Be thankful some never get another chance.
