Ya know guys, guess i fall in to the "middle aged" geezer demographic.Back when I was a younger version of myself, I had a 67 gto, 71 olds 442 convert, trans am, 67 camaro rs, and other muscle cars and when I whoomped on the gas pedal I knew that rear was gonna fly around. Either my reaction time was faster (fear factor,or maybe Fun factor) lol,but these vettes do it sooo fast.I think I better leave the old geezer device turned On.HAHAHA!

Welcome to the forum.
Yes but when you learn a lesson the hard way, you usually don't forget.

Good experience- (hopefully without damage)
We need to practice fast stops...turning under deceleration & acceleration to stay on our game.

I use to think that I had a pretty good feel for my car. However, now everything has changed with a little cooler weather and about 7K miles on the original goodyears .

The backend comes loose in 1st or 2nd without even using a full throttle. Last week I just eased on the gas a little going around a corner and the backend started coming around. Yes, my traction control is on. If it doesn't get better by this summer, I will have to get rid of these tires. It hasn't really been very cold this winter.

Yup...1966 and just got my '64 vert, 365/327 4 speed. Lit 'em up in first, power shifted into second, my knee coming off the clutch hit the door opener ball...the car went sideways, the door came open, and I...well, let's just say it was an interesting couple seconds...
