Sounds like you need a weekend in Key West... just be careful! Lots of things aren't quite what they seem there?

Thanks for the pics everyone. It really is nice to see some green and sunshine, even if it's only in pictures. We're in the home stretch but it's still going to be awhile...

Nos, what track is that?
Im moving to the gulf coast in late spring (hopfully, house has been on the market for a year).
The wife and I searched areas we like to live from port charlet to hernano beach this time last year,I managed to go to 2 car shops, 3 cruise nights and a show in 1 week in-between looking at houses with realtors ..it was awesome to do while there was in the teens and 3' of dirty snow here.
I talked to as many car guys as I could about shows, cruise nights, drag strips, road courses, dirt bike trails, good driving roads ,etc. to help decide where to live.
We are trying for hernando beach but still open to areas we have missed.
We want warterfront w/ gulf access, small house on stilts, parking for at least 4 cars under, and close to tracks.
We were expecting to have moved by now so this winter is killing me but will be my last here.

It's Bradenton's track just south of Tampa. I just moved to this part of the state a little over 7 months ago. It's one of the better tracks I've been to (raced with previous cars at Orlando and Moroso (now PBIR)).

Here's one of the runs I had my gf video for me. Lost the race thanks to traction (48 degrees and summer street tires not a good combo). You'll hear me squeel 1-2 and chirp 2-3. Lost ground on both of those. Damn automatic cammed Camaro. Was catching him until that.

Plenty of fast rides there when I went. There was practically no rice (until later at night). Track time was 6pm start and I stood until about 9pm. Everything there were Vette, 5.0, CTS-V, LS3/L99 Camaro, etc. etc. There were some other wild rides too like R34 and the new R35 GTR's too. Made my measly 12.11 @ 120.6 seem slow.

I took this pic of my GS yesterday afternoon here in Southern Oklahoma - I live just a couple miles from the Texas border. It's usually around 60 degrees this time of the year and the high was about 24 - it's been this way for a few weeks other than a day here or there. That's a little powdered sugar sprinkled around.

The things we could be doing instead of sitting on the couch with a heated blanket shivering ..the oil man just left with $800.00 of mine. still cold. this sucks . cant wait to move.
I could be racing at Bradenton now and using my sea-doo tomorrow..instead.............

Cabin fever is starting to set in so if you have some warm weather pics of your C6, post them up PLEASE, cant take much more of this
Live in St. Paul - Every time I leave the garage I look at the C6 sitting in the third stall with the Battery Tender glowing... and curse this winter we've been having. Hoping this will lead to an early spring unlike last year!

Just took a trip from San Antonio to New Orleans for a conference. Took the long way through the Louisiana coast. The Sabine and Anahuac Wildlife refuges were beautiful. No cars in sight for miles so I was able to open her up a little... just won't say how much.

EDIT: Sorry if there's duplicate pics. Darn phone app is wonky when it comes to that.

would love too but here in FL it has rained every single day and today was the longest rainfall day ever from dawn to dusk , hopefully tomorrow will be a better day to drive , so hang in there all of you snow stuck Vettes the Rumbles will soon come to your neck of the woods , in the mean time start thinking of what to add to your Vette whether it be mods or just an air freshener ,
