Console Change Opinions
I'm thinking about making some interior changes on my 07, particularly the console since it has the cheap looking gray plastic.
There are multiple forum vendors for interior items but I'm curious as to who everyone is using. Are you happy with the items? Did you send yours in to be dipped or buy a whole new one.
Please post up pics if you have them. I'm thinking about changing the console out to the 08+ style but would like to see what others are doing and what looks best.
Of course changing out the console brings up the question of should I then change out the pods around the gauges. Then there are the door opening buttons....where does it end

Advanced
I have an 06 that I upgraded to an 08 dash. I used http://www.performancecorvettes.com/
They are a lot less than going to the dealer. I used an OEM dash. If you have F55 you'll have to change out the switch and use an adapter harness. A new "ride control switch" is $50 from lewesautomall. The harness is $40. You can search the forum and find a lot of install info on this. http://www.kawal.net/F55%20Console.htm
It really made a huge difference in my interior quality. I even upgraded my NAV to a Kenwood.
Good luck.

I have a lot of Down South Vettes (DSV) leather in my 06. I upgraded the center console with a GM 08 part and had that modified by DSV with real leather in two tone.

Thanks for the replies so far.
Johnodrake I have the same color interior but two tone seats. I'm looking at doing DSV for the boots and console cover. Thanks for the pics, it helps a lot.

I also did Performance supplied parts. Did the tombstone first in the 2008 version. That entitled me to a nice discount on the 2008 gauge cluster surround from them. That is all I did to my all black interior and it really updated it. I am not much of a mod guy so I am most happy with the look now. Also, a real easy job to undertake, kind of fun even.

great looking interiors guys!. love the DSV stuff... pricey, but looks awesome!.. I had my console, gauge cluster and pass AC vent done in Hydro by TKO.. very nice job and I love it everytime I sit in the car.. a few other touches (stitched shifter boot, new ****, stitched ebrake boot) and it's like a new car!

Seeing the transformation of John Drake's '06 vert is what inspired me to have DS Vettes work their magic on my '05 interior. Like John, I had them start with a new factory '08 console bezel (that they sourced for less than I would have paid a dealer parts department); they removed the fake leather ("pleather") and replaced it with stitched leather. I also went with their genuine leather covered shift ****, e-brake handle, boots, button pods, center console lid, steering wheel, and interior door panels. As I'm sure others here will attest to, the quality and service provided by DSV are second to none.

You guys sure don't make the decisions any easier! Some really nice looking interiors here.
I guess it will depend on pricing and what I feel like setting my budget at. I want to dress the interior up a little but don't want to break the bank at the same time.
