The 2006 owner's manual on pages 3-75 and 3-76 does not give specific directions (at least that I understand in reading) on how to "erase" a previous owner's #2 FOB name.......

How do I get rid of "Leslie"?

You press the reset button until the letter you want to change is underlined then press the option button to scroll through the letter choices. One of those choices is a blank space which erases the letter you have selected. So you have to delete or change each letter one at a time. You can't delete the whole word all at once.

Page 3-75 and 3-76 appear pretty clear on the settings to me. Gives step by step instructions on how to enter a name or correct letters that already in there. Sorry can't be of more help.

Ok now for the real response. Get to the #2 settings. When you are at the point of entering the name, key in each letter until you get to the blank and enter to go to the next letter. Each time press until you hit the blank. One at a time will clear out the name. I added my wife for the #2 fob.

The next letter after 9 is the blank.

To change the names for FOB 1 and 2, press 1 or 2 on the door.
