Melting Slicks
The Cucamonga one is still there. Been closed for many a moon now (it is pretty run down). It is on Route 66 that goes through Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Just reading something the other day from the city news letter about it. They have been trying to find someone to buy it forever now. Looks like now a historical society is trying to raise funds to restore the building back to what it looks like I assume in the picture.
Greg, I could park my car in front of it and take a picture. Then it would qualify for the C6 forum here.

Thanks for the pics. I was able to identify the majority of the cars. Guess that makes me old too.
Here's a pic of an old station in Alton, OK. It's just south of I-44 near the MO border. They don't sell gas anymore, just souvenirs. However, if you ask, they'll let you wander through their car museum. Well worth the stop if you happen to be traveling that route.

These are great. They even had 10% Ethanol back then too!
