Loved my '00 C5 Vert for specific reasons...
Love my '08 C6 Vert for specific reasons...
Looking forward to loving the '15 or '16 C7 Vert when I migrate to it.

I went from a 2002 Z06 to a 2010 1 LT coupe. It was like going from a Chevette to a Cadillac. Matter of fact I liked the 2010 so much I bought a 2012 next.

The only real advantage C5 had over the C6 was how much more solidly the C5 seemed to be built. I feel like I have more rattles and squeaks in the C6 than I ever did in the C5. Never had a problem with my 2002.
The factory navigation and heated seats are pretty nice, but i could live without them. It also seemed like I averaged around 30 miles per gallon in the C5, however in the C6 I feel like I rarely get over 24 to 25. On the flip side though, the extra 86 horsepower is very noticeable. The power top is a nice option, although again after you have seen it once it's more of a novelty than a need. The NPP and HUD...favorite options by far.
If I could go back and do it again, I would say I'm 50-50 riding right on the fence. I could go either way.

4 months ago, I sold my 2000 Torch Red convertible.
Missed have a vette so I began looking for another one. Preferably a 2001 or newer c5 because of the updates during that year. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2004 Lemans Blue coupe.
However, a local Volvo dealer had a 2005 Lemans Blue Convertible with HUD (had to have this option) and took it for a ride and purchased it.
Overall I like the refreshed interior and dash of the C6 over the C5 and happy with my purchase. Now if it would only stop snowing in western Pennsylvania.........

C4 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
Went from an 03 Spiral Grey Vert to a '13 Silver GrandSport coupe and couldn't be happier. Granted my GS is fully loaded with 4LT, MSRC, NPP, etc, but I feel it was as big a difference from the C5 as the C5 was from the C4. The GS is significantly more solid and refined, while having way more performance. Plus with the addition of the Mild-to-Wild for the exhaust and with the MSRC, I can have either a refined cruiser or a wild ride with the turn of a **** and the push of a button. The only down side is that the MPG has suffered some, but you're not going to get almost 100HP more without sacrificing a little fuel economy.
