Cooled seats (Recaro XL Topline)
Has anyone installed the recaro XL topline?
I am 6ft 3 and my head isn't really supported by the stock seats.
I found and like that the XL topline recaro's have an actual headrest that not only goes up and down but also forward and back.
Furthermore, it has the ability to cool the seat as well. All you need is a 12 volt source.
Here is an install guide below... My question, will it actually fit in a C6?

I've been speaking to aa forum member that owns a z06... he has a similar recaro seat. I'm going to look at the measurements of his seat and compare. I'll update the OP shortly

Nice idea. Is that price of $2150-$2650 per pair or per seat? If per pair, price is not too bad for complete set seats when compared to what Gooberment Motors charges for new leather, foam and an trimmer to install them.
Guess you loose the air bags built into the seat. Not sure how one would stop the air bag light from being lite all the time when it does not see air bags. I guess you can take out the bulbs but I am not sure if the whole system might be disabled or not. I think I once read about some sort of harness that simulated bags so race seats can be installed and fool the system into the bag still being present. I cannot find the link at the moment.
I know what you mean about ventilated seats - they are wonderful. I think the C7 comes with them or at least has an option for them.
