Here's what I did.

I put a Dsv d shaped steering wheel. I put black leather elbow pads on the doors and a new thicker leather console cover. I added the HUD at the same time as the steering wheel.

I added the cargo net and an insignia cargo cover as well as the cargo compartment and divider (whatever it's called on the forum)in place as well.

Over the past 6 years it's been minimal cost and improved the driving experience.

I am making some MODs to my Corvette and can't wait to post them. The comments will be interesting based on some of the feedback on this thread and others I have read!

Glad to see a few folks are getting ideas - that was the point. I actually have gotten a few good ideas as well, thanks for that. JerryVette - would love to see the DsV D steering wheel. I'd eventually to put a D in. And 1rusty1, I'd be interested to see the pic of the S leather seats on ebay for around 180! Pics help a lot - the neoprenes in #17 are the first I've seen installed, and I didn't realize they fit so nicely - can't trust sales pics.

Yeah, interesting to see the wide span of intellect / caliber of folks here, this seemed to bring out the best and the worst of the spectrum. Enjoy speaking with the former. I'd rather have a good attitude and bad taste than a bad attitude regardless of taste, any day!

Here is the link the S Leather seats. They don't have the color combination that I want but seem to be a nice looking cover. Like you say, it's hard to tell how they would look until installed.

I am not sure who was mean..

But really! not much to be constructive about with the taste the OP showed with the interior mods.

Hell this isn't War or Famine just some talk about a guy owning a great car and making it look like it is from Tijuana.

I am assuming he might be single and he is in need of a good woman for rudder control. Most of us do..

Still circling over head, hard to resist.

Bad boy bad boy.

Hey wanna-be bad boy with the remedial reading skills - female, and not single for a really long time!

OMG HAHA - you're local! Can't wait to run into you at one of the local events - that's going to be FUN!

looks good, just remember it's your car so if you like something don't worry what others think, a lot of folks on here seem to have opinions but you know what opinions are like.

Hum missed completely that the OP is female. So much for the female position on better taste.

Chances of meeting me at a event are slim to none, seeing as how I avoid group gatherings and am not a club kinda of guy. I like to make my own way.

But you enjoy the car and the gatherings!!

Would that "S.Leather" be "synthetic" leather? Is it "bonded" leather?

You have to admit, that's one good looking bird.....although he would probably look a little better on the smoker smothered in bbq sauce.

American Game's aren't meat birds, and for meat birds, they get eaten at around 6 months, not a couple years old. Honestly - wouldn't be tasty!

on a 1LT one of the best mods you can add for a reasonable price is HUD.

I like some aspects of your interior modifications. I like the center console cover and the arm rests. Those are needed on a long drive. I'm even thinking about getting the grab handles and skin cover because mine are getting scratched up.

I don't think the drink holder would work for me since it would go flying around all the corners...lol.

HAHA. I actually took a think black strip with Velcro ends, slipped it under the end of the console, and then Velcro'd down the "portable office". Doesn't move, BUT does move up when I lift the console (note - not good idea with cup(s) of fluid). What's cool, is the little cup holders expand and contract for size of drink - so a big Gatorade fits as well as a skinny Red Bull! I'm way too practical to get rid of my office - try putting a Gatorade in one of those cute little side cup holders!

Did you do it yourself, or have it done? Total cost of labor and parts? "Thinking" about it, was kind of afraid to have the dash pulled as I don't want any squeaks when it's put back together...
