Did you get your battery and charging system checked out? Just because you got a new battery don't mean its any good or being charged properly by the alternator. 2009 might new fob battery as well. Check the other end of your plug wires on the coil packs too. Good Luck!

The car battery and FOB are new, but the connection on the positive is broke, but still connects good. The car is getting worse, did it twice on the way home last night, shut it of and wait less than a minute and it starts up and runs fine.
This weekend I will have the codes checked again, recheck the plug wires real good, have it checked to make sure it is charging the battery good. If I can't find anything then I guess it's time to take it to Chevy.

Had the codes pulled again and got P2135, P1516 and a P2101. I have done some research and found hundreds of instances with these codes, yet no one real solution, some say to check the wires, grounds and all connections, other say it is from water at a high power brushless car wash. Most seem to say it is a bad TAC module, not even sure where that is located at.

I do have what might be a stupid question - if it is something with the throttle body or the TAC module etc...is this something that is covered under a drive train warranty at all?

Not sure what to do at this point.

Really? Did you take it in to a Chevy dealer to have it looked at?

No, this is all research on my own. I think I should just let them handle it huh?

If you have a battery connector that is broken, how can you be sure it is not the problem. I would replace that connector just to eliminate that possibility.

Good luck with the repairs, they are never cheap.

I thought only 2005's had problems.

Dealer called me; he said it is either the throttle body or the TAC module and that it would all be covered under the emissions warranty! He said ti would be done in a few hours, I will update after I get her.

The symptoms you described along with the codes are what I got a couple of months ago with my vette. What I'm pretty sure is going on is that you have a defective gas pedal. $100-150 for replacement and it will fix right up.

I hope you were being sarcastic when you said "only 2005's had problems"...

Picked the car up on Friday and drove it all weekend without a single issue. Here is the invoice so you can see exactly what they did...still am so happy the covered it under warranty.

Glad they got it fixed. I bought my C5 from South Pointe and it was a good experience. Never used their service department though...
