Default Paint it black or not?

Just put on extended rear spoiler and was wondering if I should paint the whole thing black or just back side black or leave it silver? What do you think?

I would be inclined to leave it all silver because if you paint the back side black you will still have a small silver line on the top edge of the body under the spoiler. Anyone have photoshop?

The way your car is set up, it's almost a necessity to paint the rear of the spoiler to match the rear of the car.

You have ***** to put that stuff on your car. I would never do it No offense but it looks but ugly. I would start peeling.

You insult his taste, verify yours, and then say, "no offense."

I'd leave it silver. It would disappear if it was black. I prefer the contrast.

If he likes it that is all that matters. I just don't understand putting plastic dip on such a beautiful car. Lets think about this. Who in their right mind paints a chemical on to a 65k car. I can understand doing rims to see if you like black or not but on the back of the car. The worst is these guys who black out the flag emblem or paint their tail lights. I'm sorry but plastic dip belongs on the handle of a wrench not on a sports car. We are all big boys and if you can't take an opinion like a man then don't post and put it out there for everyone to see. I want someone to tell me when I put rain gutters on my Vette that it's not appropriate. I may say heck I like it and that is all that matters but it's also nice to know what others think whether I agree or not. Not sure if the poster agrees but voicing an opinion is what these forums are about. Once again when I write no offense; I mean don't take it personal.

It seems you are going with the black theme, so it will tie in with halo, mirrors, side skirts etc. I honestly think the black rear works on the c5 ala the c5r, but it doesn't work well on the c6. Wish you could keep bumper cover silver and just do spoiler black and think it would look way better.
