V1 Mount options

Mine is a simple mount using their suction cups. Mounts right in front of the mirror just low enough for the rear arrow to operate. Works very well.

bp2826,
you sound convinced you don't want blendmount, if you want the best fitting, best made, almost don't see it, picks up power from the mirror. Its aerospace parts quality.
I thought it was expensive but 30 days later,60,90, no adjustments to correct fittment. Haven't touched it in months.
You get what you pay for.
Good Luck whatever you do. Have you seen the radar jammer/dvr/(windows like touch interface) for $2,000.
Thats Expensive. The blend mount is well made and works.

When mounted under the mirror, is the radar hidden when you are looking from the outside if the car. I just worry about it getting stolen.
Right now I took the visor clip turned it around backwards and slid it between the roof and the windshield if that makes sense. It's completely hidden from view but not very sturdy.

2. Remove suction cups from Valentine w/s mount.
3. Get small sheet metal screws and rubber grommets from hardware store.
4. Turn Valentine mount backwards, mount into plastic w/s trim where Onstar box used to be, by using screw and grommets.
5. Use Invisicord or other convenient method to power Valentine
The Valentine will still fit into the backwards mount, but is mostly hidden by black section on w/s where Onstar box used to be. Semi-stealth. Mine's been that way for 4 yrs/63k miles, we love it. We also have the remote display stuck on top of the steering column with mounting tape.

The great lakes fell off my mirror. Before that happen I was always adjusting the rear view from the weight pulling it down. I now just use the suction cup mount and have it up near my rearview just to the drivers side. Hasn't rattled or moved any in over 2 months now.

The suction cups work good. Mine is mounted to the left of the mirror out of view. The power cord is tucked under the headliner and runs to the right and down to the fuse box under the floor. The cups have to be replaced maybe once a year depending on how much sun they get. The fancy mounts are too low for me.
