Purple or White Underglow LEDs

Melting Slicks
LED bulbs being used for tail lights, etc., is not just the future for autos...they're presently already being installed at the factory on many new cars.
They're brighter, they require way less voltage to operate, they stay cool, etc., and are an optimal progression from old style bulbs.
However, rest assured, purple LED's lighting up the wheel wells and glowing onto the pavement from underneath a car as it's going down the road is most definitely not the "future for all autos."
Such lighting might be installed by an adolescent on an older ricer, and he might get some compliments from some of his peers when he drives his car to the Friday night football game at his high school, but such lighting would look silly on a car driven by an adult...and it would look downright ridiculous on a Corvette driven by anybody.

Many owners have their own taste as far as what looks good on their vettes.
Some like lights, in the cove, under the door or rear valance, others like them in their cup holders etc.
Some like those chrome spears at the cove, chrome door handles, chrome rear light louvres etc etc.
I say, do whatever you want with your car. It's your flavor.
You know what#10 of the commandments say?

I did it to mine. However not in the wheel well or under. I think that's kinda ghetto, IMO.
I also personally dislike chrome wheels an the color purple. However 31 Flavors, is your car, do what makes you happy. Just like I do to mine what makes me happy.
Here are pictures of mine for reference.

I have a feeling not many of you actually know the definition of RICE or ricer. That being said I'll be honest and say underglow isn't my thing. My brother had it on his old Mustang and it just looked silly but I do have red LED strips in my fog light housing and pointing towards my intercooler. They turn on for about 15 seconds whenever I shut the car off. Otherwise no one would ever know they where there.
You do what you want to your car. Not everyone has to like it but they don't have to drive it. I'll still wave to you when I see you.

It's official. I hereby declare ricer to mean anything involving purple glow lights underneath a vehicle.
Urban dictionary has a pretty good definition as well.
