Car is a 2008 M6. I'm not new to the racing scene but haven't had the C6 long enough to really play with the modes and haven't had a chance to put it on the track yet. I did line up with a new BMW M6 tonight and had Traction off, first gear and half way thru second was pretty much useless with my run flat tires and this cold weather.

So what mode yields best results for launching the car? Traction control on, Traction control off, Comp driving mode, or Traction control and Comp driving off? Not 100% sure either on how each mode exactly effects the car.

TC off for launching. You'll have to warm up the tires.

i prefer comp mode. allows tire spin but will try to keep the car from getting outta control sideways.

when i first got mine and went out to baytown/royal purple it was stock and had run flats horrible 2.30s 60ft just going to the hankook v12 much better drag radials make a huge difference.

Comp mode still controls wheel spin.

TC off and stock run flats I cut consistent 1.9x 60's

TC off keeps the car straight but allows wheel spin. Comp Mode allows some wheel slip and some sideways movement.
