Beat the Miata, so im happy.

Its not for everyone, especially when it comes to people that nitpick about mundane details like perfect seats and cheap GM plastics with fit and finish issues.

I thought of that, but I have a feeling the C7 introduction had little influence on the data because of the timing of the CR survey.

My wife's Miata came in at 83%, but I think she'd buy it again and again - she really loves that car.

I'd buy my C5 again. I've never driven a C6 so I wouldn't know.

87% of Corvette have and will buy again! I've had multiple Vettes in the last decade or so.Don't think I'll be getting a C7 though.

A bit of clarification. The CR survey asks if you would buy your current car again, in this case most likely a C6 - not a new Corvette (C7.)

From the magazine:
Considering all factors (price, performance, reliability, comfort, enjoyment, etc.), would you get this car if you had to do it all over again?

I guess I'm in 13% that would not. In fact I returned my CPO '09 with 12,500 mi on the odometer.

Main reason was b/c it was going to be a daily driver/only car. 2 days and 100 miles later, I realized no way did I want this as my only vehicle. Way too much of a pain to get in/out of. Also ride quality was harsh...etc.

But also the endless squeaks and roof rattles on a car with such low mileage just turned me off.

Finally the auto transmission in stock/non-tuned form was really disappointing. Always wanted to hang out at 1K rpm all the time. Sure it had loads of power but I always had stomp on in so it would downshift 2-3 gears to get it. I remember my old C32 AMG auto was so much more satisfying.

On the plus side, the C6 was eye candy and a half to look at and I had really not issues with the seats. But I don't really miss it and would not seek out another.

Now if it was a weekend only car with a manual......possibly.

I'll be buying again, though probably not a C6. C7, unless I can find a great deal on a C6 Z06.

Getting a bit off topic, but if the daily driver Corvettes were F55 cars it would be 100%....

Yes, sporty. Because cars like the Challenger and Mustang aren't sports cars.
