One sick looking ride!! Looks phenominal all blacked out.

What did you use to black out the headlamps?

What side skirts are those?

Why did you go with 18s all around vs and 18/19 set up?

Thanks.

Anything can be stolen but it would be easier to take the fuel pump than it would be to get at the back up battery. I also put enough insurance on it to cover the cost of buying and building another one. One of the best things about living in Texas is that you are allowed to use deadly force. You can shoot someone for being in your yard at night and it is legal.

The headlights were painted with a PPG smoke clear.

The skirts are from Supervette

I went with 18" wheels so I would have more sidewall to absorb the shock of the stall at the drag strip. I also picked them because the best priced 345 tire is the BFG drag radial. When these M/T drag radials are gone I will switch to BFG drag radials. I have a heavy foot and tend to wear out rear tires pretty quick. Two BFG's cost around 300-350 dollars.

The car looks insane in the sun because it changes colors as you walk around it. Right now it is over cast and 35-37* out so it does not show. I took a walk around video and I will try to figure out how to upload it.

I just did this myself. Download/Upload your video to the computer and open in Windows Movie Maker. Save it as a WMV file and load it to Photobucket. Paste the video link.

No one makes that hood vent! But I can tell you how to do it.

I did not care for the aftermarket hoods and I did not want to be like everyone else so I founds some Mustang hood vents and we cut my factory hood and inserted them. They are 100% functional and the vent the header heat from under the hood. I still need to cut the corvette heat shield material that is clipped under the factory hood but I need to figure out a real clean way to do it and make it look factory.
