Installed Angel eyes "DIY"
Over thanksgiving holiday...It took me 5-days because I am a perfectionist.
I purchased White Plasma Halo Oracle lights. $200.00
First thing I noticed is Low Beam light housing diameter is larger than the High beam light housing. The four Halo Oracle lights are all the same diameter.
To make them fit, I removed the chrome metal trim from the low and high beam housing. Mounted the plasma rings directly to the clear outer headlight domes. The plasma rings are made of yellowish-light greenish plastic. I applied epoxy and silicon to affix the rings to the plastic surface of each headlight lens.
(Hopefully the epoxy and silicon can withstand the high temperatures over time to keep the rings in place) The rings are powered by IGN-ON-12volts via a switch located on the console. . Meaning the plasma lights will be lit ONLY when car is running and the switch is in the on position.

Would you happen to know if I could use same settings on oven temp & time on the 3rd brake light housing? I found a spare cheap on ebay and wanted to put a LED strip in there or something!

Home depot or any hardware store sell "Polyurethane Premium Construction Adhesive". It comes in the large tube that fit in a caulk gun.
For this project I used "Loctite PL Pro Line Fast Grab Premium"
Also keep in mind the seal is also broken when you change a bad bulb.

I'm curious. You heated and cut the lens off? I've did both but only one or the other.
If you cut the lens off and glued them back together using the existing lens were you happy with the joint?

Heat:
Takes a long time 30min to 1hour per light, you will need 2 people. Also the lense or housing may warp from pulling and prying to open the light housing. Reassemble will also pose problems because the heat might change the mounting surfaces shape between the two pieces.
Cutting:
Much faster, 5 to 10mins per light. I used a RotoZip RZ1 with a drywall bit. 3/16 cut. Easier to reassemble. Will need some type of pressurized air to blow out the plastic particles and dust generated from cutting. Enclosed is a picture showing the light assemble glue back together. The wires are used to hold the housing in place while it's drying. I cut the wires off once the glue harden. You can use large clamps. The glued joint with be covered by the rubber headlight gasket that fit between the housing and the car panels. If you look at my earilier pictures the lights mounted perfect...no problems
