Interesting message on the DIC
It's been very cold around and I noticed this message in the DIC: ICE POSSIBLE.
What other words of wisdom come up on it?

I believe I have seen "headlights suggested" on the Corvette.

I got message saying Lt Tire overinflated, when it wasn't.

Yeah the headlamps thing is pretty standard and the false alarm tire monitor thing is usually when a sensor battery is failing. The ice message is the only real warning I've seen though.

That's what I like about the HUD. If it's not on the HUD I don't see it. I don't text while driving and I don't look around at stuff inside the car while driving. If it's important the HUD will say "Check gauges".
I've driven with temperatures down to 20 and never seen that message. I'd like to. For example, right here right now it is in the 70's but I could drive to Illinois today and be in the teens by evening. It would be nice to be warned when the temp started to get near freezing.

Haven't really noticed lately, but my best recollection is that the "ice possible" message appears at 36° or less.

That could be an indication your tire sensors aren't programmed into the car correctly. Did you check the other tires to see if one of them was over pressure? Over pressure warning comes on when tire pressure hits 42 degrees.

As it turns out the readings on the DIC are easier to see than the gauges. They are lit brightly and are digital (numbers Vs a needle) which makes them easily interpretable.

But in either case we'll just have to agree to disagree. The only 2 accidents I've had in the past 40 years (both relatively minor) were caused when I was looking at something inside the car instead of the sudden changes going on outside. I just believe there is nothing going on inside the car that is more important than what is going on outside. Give me a buzzer and a warning on the HUD if something inside needs my attention. And make both of us happy by giving us a more detailed HUD with adjustable alarm points.
