Sore butt - any way to make seat more comfy??
I am enjoying most things about my 'new' 2008 C6 Coupe. But the seat leaves a little to be desired IMHO. I fully realize this is not a Lexus or Cadillac seat, but the seat seems HARD (the part your butt sits on). Plus, it does not seem to have any contouring at all.
Is there any way to soften this cushion up a little bit, or adjust the contour of the cushion?????
The back of the seat is fine, and it's very adjustable. It's just the seat cushion I am complaining about.

If you have the seat lowered all the way try raising it up so you are not sitting on the floor board.

LOL, nope, I have NOT tried this. I am kinda tall (6'2"), so I likely have the seat all the way down. I would be truly stoked if this was my whole problem. I will adjust when I get home from office and see if that changes anything.....

I've thought about doing Don's suggestion above but mine is not uncomfortable yet. It is a relatively inexpensive fix, and from I've seen, not one for a highly sophisticated interior specialist.

I am 6"2" also. You cannot have the seat all the way down or you be terrible. raise it 1/2" and it should be fine

Yep, I had it all the way down and it was hitting the servo motor assembly. Kind of a pi$$-poor design IMHO. You woulda thought they'd have designed some clearance in there.

Over the last year or so, a solid repair process has been developed and we want to share it with everyone. We wanted to see how it worked out in my car for a year and can say I feel its 100% better than OEM. There are two problems: The side bolsters from the factory do not have any support under them. So as you climb in/out of the seat, the outside bolster foam tears where it sits on the steel seat frame and quickly sags or goes flat. The steel wires in the center area cut into the foam and quickly cause the foam to sag and pinching around the hip area. I found this extremely uncomfortable after only 15 minutes.
This seat rebuild kit comes with all of the seat foam insert pieces necessary to provide the extra support needed to give your Corvette seats a more luxurious feel. If you want to improve the comfort of your Corvette without replacing the stock seats, this simple and affordable kit is a fantastic means by which you can do this. did this and it helped- certainly not a new seat but much more comfortable. Just follow direction and not a bad job at all

I have a question. Is this just on older C6s? I have no complaints about the seats in my 13GS. I'm only 5'8" but I like the front to be higher than the back (more upper leg support). So the rear of my seat is about as low as it can go while the front is slightly higher.
