I'd take the trip to ECS... Dont go to another shop to try and save a few pennies... You got a Vette you gotta pay to play, if you are good with your hands the headers can easily be done yourself... I did mine with a friend and the install came out mint... If your not lookin to spend the time to install yourself then id say ECS all the way bud

Lets say the install of the headers takes 4 hours. The shop charges 100-125 an hour. This works out to 400-500 hundred. A first time tune normally around 400 or more. The shop has to buy the tuning license for the software for your VIN on the car. The price is now at 800-900. The 900 is in the ball park. The future tunes at the same shop might be free without having to use the dyno or a 1 hour labor for a dyno tune.

The shop also told you they do a package deal which you knew before ordering which would of saved you money. The final cost would of been cheaper.

That said, we did have to correct the wiring to the left side 02 sensor, and when I started tuning I had to waste a fair amount of time until I realised the excessive knock retard was coming from the frame pinch weld that had not been taken care of during the time of install of the headers.
If that had gone to a more novice shop for a tune, that may not have been spotted and and been a continuous power loss for you.
Just so it's clear, I consider Eric here a friend and good customer, so I'm more so just busting his chops then anything, but never the less, these things can haunt the car down the line.
