Value question widebody conversion

You don't give much detail. Is it 1LT, etc etc COUPE or convertible
Check out KBB.com for pricing in your zip code You can pick all your options for a precise $$
Chances are, since a 2008 didn't have a GS model, you won't get any more for it. It's like mods, no extra $$ for those, unless the buyer wants those exact mods.
Good Luck

Ops sorry , coupe it's stock with just a cai. I think it's a 2lt has everything except nav radio. But I was referring to how much the real value of the car since I put the Gs body panels on it

If I was the buyer it would not be much, certainly not even close to what it would cost to do. It's kinda like all the work you do on your house, when it comes time to sell most things don't add up.

Look like you did a nice conversion and it is a rare "GS" color too.
If I were in the market for a used C6, I would definitely give you a little more for that than I would a similar 'regular' coupe.
But, of course you will never recover the total cost of the conversion.
I did my conversion, knowing full well that it was money I would never see again for the most part. But then again, I don't plan on selling mine anytime soon.

I also would give move for one which had the conversion. The value is really going to be in finding a buyer who is looking for a widebody at a lower price than a z06 or GS.

Everyone will have a different opinion, but the conversion will only hurt the value in my opinion. You'll have to find the right buyer who doesn't care that it's a fake GS.

A base C6 gussied up to look like a GS is just that, a base C6 gussied up to look like a GS, and the VIN will show it forever as a base model.
The mods will add zero to the value of the base C6, and will probably hurt the value unless the "right" buyer is located.

The OP did a tremendous job with the coupe. True, someone may balk at owning a "fake" GS, or he'll be feeling lucky to get the GS look while paying much closer to a base coupe price.
As long as the OP is not trying to sell it as an original GS, which I don't think he is, it's not a problem.

Mods like this don't tend to add much value compared to cost. They do add enjoyment and pleasure that alot of "pre-owned" buyers would like. This is a body panel change and not an undoable mod. I would pay more if the seller kept all of the original parts, however most don't.

You did not take anything away from the value of the car. It is a 2008 Corvette with a wide body kit nothing else. Remember these cars are not collector cars so what ever the value of a 2008 2LT is going for in your area, that is what you will get. Granted the wide body is a popular mod on the C6's, so you can ask a little more then if it were a base 2LT.
Some will not like the idea of converting it to a full GS body, but I would not worry about any of the mod police on here. I know you will not get all you money that you spent on the conversion in the resale. When you mod a car you need to realize that you did it for your enjoyment and if the new buyer is will to pay a little more for the car than that is just great.

Calling it a fake GS does sound insulting, maybe with a wibe body kit would be more appropriate. But you definitely limit your market for it, not that there's none. GL
