Kind of a random boat load of pics, eh, Chris! Love that west TX 80 mph limit. NJ to AZ and beyond, wow!

Default What is your job?

Chris,

Are you long term testing a car, or something? I see you posting about the miles a bit, and just wondering.

P.S. I just have not got on board with the looks of the C7. Sitting next to the C6, it looks like a Japanese import a little.

Soon we will see 200k on this GS and I remember seeing the GS at the Museum for the ZR1 cruise in when it was well under 100k

As a part of my job, as Program Manager for Callaway Cars, I do a lot of traveling. It's perfect to take the Callaway Corvete, as it is economical, especially compared to point-to-point travels, with rental cars, etc. and lost time factors.

We were determined to show the car make it to 100,000 miles after our last car was sold at 88k mi. We turned 100,000 miles at Corvettes at Carlisle with a nice demonstration in front of the grandstands.

From there, we decided to go to 150k mi, then it just made sense to go to 200,000 miles. We're nearly there.

This car has been an absolute blast, and rock-solid! No mechanical issues at all. But lots of tires, brakes, and oil changes. And over 500 car washes...

Thanks!

It's a prototype configuration we are evaluating. Good for track days, and for the open road. One thing is for sure, very little brake dust, compared to o.e. GS pads
