Inside Air Temperature Sensor

I knew that we have an Outside Temperature sensor next to the radiator support and an AMBIENT sensor next to the ignition. On rock auto I cam across this....

I have narrowed my A/C woes to a sensor issue.

Where is this thing located?

Just a guess:

To the right of the steering wheel in the lower portion of the dash there is a small slotted sensor (facing the driver), I think that is it.

Yes, this is the sensor that knows what the temperature is inside the car. And then adds heat or cool to get to the temp set on the control. It may have a little fan built into or behind it to pull air over the sensor.

Just looking at the 07 repair manual. There are actually 5 temp sensors in the system,one outside by the radiator. 3 in the duct work and 1 just to the right of the ignition switch. They all look similar in design.
