Things you want in a C6 ... Please add onto the list
Hello,
I know that there are many threads about what we as a forum want on the new C6 ...
Please ... do not list any engine options ... because we all want a 427ci 500HP in stock form ... but we know we wont get it ...
I personally want:
Better Leather in the interior...
Ability to go as wide as 345 tires out back w/o tubbing
Use of Michelin's ZP (Runflat Tires) since they are available in 345's

I would like non-hidden headlights, a better looking interior like an Audi TT, a very modern and exotic body. A longer warranty would also help

More HP
Less Weight
Wider tires
And definitely a stripped out version for racing (with a lower price tag), that way those who want luxury can spend the money on the nice leather interior and those who don't aren't forced to do the same.

Humm...
More power....
Longer Warrentee,
More buttons :)
More Driver options (like fuel preasure, Digital RPMs, etc etc etc) (though these are only cool things, it does not bother me we dont have them).
Lower Price Tag.. (So I can afford to live - I spend all my money on my 99 )
Wider Tires would make this thing look sick as hell! (thats a good thing)
And most Importantly: BETTER ROTORS!!!!!. Our warp WAY to fast!

I vote for:
simple, HIGH quality interior (get rid of the cheap plastic look!)
weight reduction
larger displacement, or turbocharged V8 engine (keep alum. block)
aggresive front end
A stripped version for racing
digital engine management
built-in rice cooker!

I would like to see:
a) better rotors. Ours do indeed suck.
b) higher quality interior. I dislike the cheap leather and the parts-bin radio. I just wish they'd spend a little more on the center console than they did. Hell- the instrument cluster ROCKS. Hire THOSE guys to design the center console too.
Otherwsie, I'm quite happy with my C5.

1) Higher quality interior (less plastic... lets get rid of the squeeks, k?)
2) Better headlights (HID or Xenon)
3) How about some Corvette-only stereo/AC controls? (i.e. not the same controls in a Geo or Cavalier)
Patrick

Most of the above, and if I repeat I'm sorry...
NO power top on the convertible. Keep the weight down and trunk space up.
Stereo controls on the steering wheel. And while their at it, better speakers. The convertible's suck. When the top's down, the two little speakers in back are worthless.
Heated seats as an option (I may or may not want them, but give me the choice...)
Ditch the Goodyears.
400 hp +... More for the Z06.
Shorter throw, smoother shifter.
Something that looks, smells, tastes, and performs like a Corvette...

A console that holds more than 3 CD's and doesn't melt everything I put in it.

Better premium stereo and/or make base stereo easily upgradeable.
Stereo should be able to play MP3 discs and hold at least
3 CDs in-dash.
Improved 6-speed manual. The NSX is an example of a very smooth
6 speed.
An BMW SMG like option would be nice even if it does not
have the steering wheel shift capability.
All interior/exterior colors available on all models.

I want a c6 that doesn't have complaints that GM knows about while building the car. You know what they are. :yesnod:
