So, for me, as long as I can make the transition for $1500 or under, I am a happy camper.

I understand what you are saying. But it is not so much about the cost as it is about stopping power and looks. I have ALWAYS liked the look of the bigger Z06 brake calipers and rotors over the stock ones.

For me this is just an appearance mod albeit pricey. I have no problem with the cost in relationship to the superior look, IMSO. I would also do it.
Well, that about wraps this up. You are good to go!! Post some pics when done.

Okay, quick update...
Planning on installing the calipers and rotors on Wednesday. I know my wheels are replica Z06 wheels, therefore I will be using a 1/4"-5/16" wheel spacer.
But this brings up another question...Lug bolts.
Will I need to get longer ones? If so, where can I get them? How long do they have to be??
Thanks.

If you are just adding a thin spacer, getting lug bolts that are the stock length, but threaded all the way to the tip should suffice.
The pic below is from Doug Rippee Motorsports, a great source for spacers/lugs/nuts/etc.

I have a slightly used set of DBA 4000 Series rotors I used on my 08 Z51 (4 days on fronts, 10 days on rears). They were only used for track days. I used CarboTech XP8 and XP10 pads (gave those to my brother). This combination was excellent, and I kept up with GT3s on track days. I sold the Z51 shortly after starting to use this set of rotors. I also have a brand new set of Z06 Front Brake Ducts (worth $50) that can be installed on your coupe (I never installed them). Will sell the 4 rotors and brake ducts for $400 plus shipping (assume $50), so total $450. Can send you pictures of rotors/ducts if you are interested.
