Hotel of choice in BG?
Heading to BG next week. Can't member what hotel I stayed at for cruise-ins. Can someone help me out here.
Just in town for one night. Looking for clean, friendly facility with well lit parking lot.

I like the Marriott Courtyard or the Hilton Garden Inn which are next to each other. They are off the main drag so are a little quieter and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

I liked the Hampton Inn just down a bit from the museum where the Cruise INN's were at before. Stayed there 3 times I think and was always satisfied never had any issues.

On the east end of the Super 8 they have a spigot and they don't mind you washing your Corvette using their hose. It's in the shade in the afternoon.

I checked the rates at the Hotel Sync for later this month and they show $89 for rack, and $80 for senior, compared to $50 for the Super 8. But it is brand new.

My boy and I stayed at the Motel 6 the one night we were there because they ALWAYS accept pets. The one we stayed it is on the major road where several of the other places are with lots of nice restaurants nearby. It is a newer, cleaner, nicer Motel 6 than most. The couple of other places mentioned above right over by the Museum and Assembly Plant appeared ideally located.

Just because we drive a vette does not mean a vette tax on hotel rooms. If you can afford it fine. I like the Super 8. It's been clean, allows you to park near the front door in the hatched area to keep your car safe (first come first parked) and it's afordable. Will try again for the 2014 Caravan event.

When I went to the Cruise-in a couple of times, I (and it seemed most others) stayed at the Baymont. That's probably where you stayed too. I can't remember what the rate was, but it was a decent hotel. Kinda noisy with all the Corvettes and owners around though.

going to stay in the cheapest hotel possible next year for my first visit. My brother's house. He lives 1 mile from the TN/KY line be a nice shortish drive to the museum. plus I get some seriously nice home cooked for by his wife. But I gotta cook em some TX bbq on the smoker while I am there, and they don't allow alcohol in the house. Guess I'll have to drink outside LOL
