Default Reduced Power to only 4 cyl???

I got Reduced engine power message and service traction control this morning. The car turns on normally and idles normal. After the message I went around the block and the car felt it was running on 4 cyl. I then decided to go to the auto parts store to have someone scan the car and it came up with;

P0122 TPS pedal position sensor A circuit low input
P2135 TPS pedal position sensor switch A/B voltage correlation

On my way to the auto parts only the check engine light was on and the car was running perfectly. Before I got there the light was off.

Any ideas on what's going on???

PS
I'm not sure if this matters (I think it has nothing to do with it) but the message came up when I was washing the car. I started washing with the cars nose facing my house, but because the hose wasn't long enough I turned the car around and when I was backing up to the driveway I got the message.

Not 4cyl. it just does the reduced power thing when it needs to.Maybe a bad battery or something got wet. This ain't no C7,so no cylinder deactivation...you're always on 8 cylinders.

when it happend to me it was because water got sucked up into the maf and got it rather wet. all i had to do was dry out the maf and take the battery off for about 15min and it was fine.

pretty much just pull your intake and maf off dry it out and let it sit with the battery off for 10-15min and you will be fine.

on a side note i had to do it twice for it to go away guess i didnt dry everything out good enough the first time.

Hey C5,

If you do decide to take it into the dealer, let me know! That is where I can help out. If you find a DIY, keep us posted on that too.

I recently encountered the same problem on my 2012 C6 base that only has 200 miles on it. It will be at New Rochelle Chevrolet tomorrow and any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

This would be my first thought also. Try unplugging and spray contacts with cleaner...
