Default Some Ferrari owners are cool

Had a surprise pool and birthday party for my S.I.L. Yesterday
Her best friend brought her new boyfriend with her.
He had heard I had a Vette and asked to see it. He loved the Atomic Orange colour and asked if he could start it. I said let's go for a ride and let him drive. He had a little trouble with the paddles as he kept on shifting up with the left paddle when slowing down.
He stated his paddles were different. Aha
What do you drive? I asked Turns out to be a Ferrari 458 that he had parked down the street so he wouldn't draw a lot of attention to the party.
He threw me the keys and said see if you see the difference in his paddle shift. He told me to take it out by myself so I would be more comfortable driving it. You could hear me shifting it 2 blocks away at 7,500 rpm
I asked him what he did for a living and he stated he was in the health care business. Works out he was head of the neurology department at our local hospital. Talk about one laid back doctor. ..Ed

Very cool., and I am sure you see the difference in the DCT over what We think is a paddle shift transmission.

Very cool! It's just a car after all. Some folks realize that and are cool about things. Some are not. I've met some laid back Ferrari and Lamborghini owners.

He's probably going through his house like a meth addict wondering what he can sell to buy one.

I think it is one of the nicest looking Ferraris made and 571 hp isn't too shabby either.

If I had the money I would buy one in a heartbeat,,,,but
The wife says I can't sell the house to get one. what a meany..Ed

Funny, I just saw a red Ferrari in the parking lot of Target tonite. I never see them in my neighbborhood. Have no idea what model but it must have been a newer one cause it had the LED headlights.

When I came out the owner was in the car . . . he drove off a minute later. I could hear the car long after he left the parking lot.

Unbelievable sound . . . but you sure gotta pay to play.
