I miss having no car payments, the C5 was paid off. The c6 isn't, it has put a thorn in my FL relocation plans for a couple years.
Good for you on paying it off!

Supercharger here I come!!!

Or I could be smarter with my money and make bigger payments towards my mortgage. But where’s the fun in that?!?
Kudos Homer....it's always a good feeling when you own anything that is fully paid for, especially cars, and houses.

I paid cash for my '13 GS about 7 months ago.

That left me a little strapped, to say the least, but I'll be out of that hole in just a few more months.

Meanwhile, the 'vette is all mine. So I know just how you feel.

Congrats . . . I guess. I've got the money in the bank to pay mine off too, but I financed it at like 2 %. I may pay it off early but doubt it . . . I am much happier knowing I've still got that $50k in my bank account and a beautiful '13 GS in the garage.

I paid cash for my 2005. It was the largest check I ever wrote. For my 2013 I wanted to keep some of that money in reserves... Just in case.

Mine was at 2.9 so it wasn't too bad but I hate paying interest. If I was at 0% I would have just let it ride as well.

Gotta agree with others on this forum about not paying off soon. Money is pretty cheap right now.

That said, the house is paid off, but that's a different situation.
