Forwards or backwards you're almost definitely going to scrape at that angle. My car would and it doesn't have a splitter on it, lol.

All I know is, every time I've seen something like this, that made me feel uncomfortable, I just backed in, and never had an issue.
Because the splitter will angle down against the asphalt as he backs in and will drag against it.

Just do it. My driveway is steeper than yours and I scrape both. Its there to protect the bumper. Thats my opinion.

Gonna give it a try come this weekend !
I have a curb like this, I use a 2x12. I cut them into 3' sections and it works great. The problem you will run in to with the 2x4 is that it will flip the other end up when you roll upon it and hit he under carriage of your car pretty hard. Be careful!

Hmmm, I didn't think of that...I suppose that's possible.

Guess I've just been lucky, always backing in, plus my splitter isn't quite as low as his.

Backing in has worked for me as well.

If you are really concerned about this, why not take the splitter off and either leave it off or put a standard OEM splitter on it for the trip up to Denver. Once you get it there, you can experiment and find a routine that will work for you.

I would say no not without a bit of slight scraping of the lower air damn.

If you are putting it away for the winter why not just remove the front splitter then re-attach in spring? Just an idea & it's easy to do.
