Default Question re price of off-site winter storage

I have been offered off-site winter storage by someone I know for my vette in a climate-controlled warehouse, with power for my battery tender, for $100/month. It's not a storage company, just a warehouse owned by someone who also keeps his own extensive car collection there. There would be no formal arrangements (no written contract), just subject to my comprehensive auto insurance and, of course, trusting the person I know. If you have knowledge of what's typical, does the price seem reasonable?

...sounds like the right circumstances all-around. It's only for six mo's or less, so if it's convenient, why not ?

I agree that $100/month sounds like a great deal for climate-controlled storage. Call around to some of the storage facilities in your area and inquire about storage units large enough to fit a car. Around here I think you're in the $150/month range for something that big...and it's not climate-controlled.

Sounds like a good deal/price as you did state climate controlled.

Store a boat after the season is over, they get a minimum price and then so much a foot and it’s normally just an unheated building loaded with mice.

I pay $250 for 6 mos in a shared airport hangar includes electricity for tender. No heat but you cannot beat the security
