What did you do to your C6 today?

I plugged it into the battery tender because I'm flying to Vegas tomorrow.
This morning was raining and since I washed it last weekend (first time in almost a year), it wasn't going out on the wet roads.

I live in Manhattan, so I typically drive the Vette only once a week. I drove out to the beach on Long Island with my wife, got some gas and had lunch with friends.
I look forward to driving that car all week and it relaxes me incredibly. I have lived in Manhattan for over 30 years and I love it, but it is really frustrating that I can't drive the car more often. I would love to come home from work and just take the car for a little spin during the week, but that just doesn't work living in the City.
My '13 6 speed CG GS Coupe is my second Corvette, having traded in my '04 Mag Red Coupe this past February on the GS. In March of 2012, I ordered the new '13 662 HP Shelby GT500, waited 8 weeks for delivery, all the while agonizing about giving up Corvette ownership. I cancelled my order in July of 2012 when the Shelby was already built and about to be transported to my dealer. Then, in February of 2013 I bought the GS.
Thanks,
Ken

Finally have a day below 100 here in Phoenix so I took the long way to breakfast with my sister in Chandler with the top off and windows down. Someone said this is the first day of fall?

Today I installed a set of painted to match door handles. They really made a visual difference, they don't pop out like the black ones did.

First order of the day was a Dawn wash followed by Armor-All on all rubber parts (that I could get to), a light polish of the paint, and applying a first coat of Rejex. I used an orbital buffer for the latter two steps but removed the Rejex by hand. Tomorrow, after a 12-hour overnight cure, I'll apply a second coat of Rejex on frontal and top areas, then clean and condition the leather with Lexol. I usually do this twice per year on or about April 1 and October 1, but today was slack with cooler weather than normal (Rejex needs <85°F to cure properly) and I took advantage of the opportunity.
Two coats of Rejex, the second on frontal areas, has worked well on my Harley for years, especially in the battle against love bugs. You guys above the range of these varmints don't know what you're missing, but Rejex is the best defense against them, IMO.
