Default Is this a good price

A local dealer is selling a base 2008 corvette with 6 speed, 48,000 miles, and silver. Tires are getting close to the wear indicators and has a little stress cracking in the paint on the front bumper. Is the $29,000 they are asking a good price

A bit steep for a 5 yr old base car that needs new tires & has cracks in the paint. I paid $18k more for my new 13 Grand Sport 1LT. Get him to throw in new tires, see if it's a one owner & the service history then talk price. There's plenty of C6's out there & even more will be coming with owners moving up to a C7.

$29,000 is not a bad price but if you can get tires and brakes it will save you a couple thousand. You might be able to talk him down to $27,000 or $27,500. Good luck.

It is not a real good price, if they take care of the tires and the stress cracking on the front bumper, than I would still want to get it down to about 27k.

I would never buy a used car from a dealer.

There is way too many low mileage base 2008's out there for 29K or less to be buying a car that has bumper with stress cracking (caused by what?) hitting something?
I'd be running away from this one if it was me.

No. get tires, tune up, oil change and all fluid updates as well as bumper repaint....for that price otherwise keep looking there's lots out there.

NOPE,price is not that good.TIRES along will run you 1800 or so.Stress cracks??What's up with that???If there's a glass top on it check over the passenger door for small cracking that occurs usually about in the middle of the roof right above the little liner thing.I bought an 8054 mile 08 last year for not much more than that.
