Regarding emails/pms on weight savings...
Its more about the look however the manufacture advised 3 lbs lighter then stock.:cheers

Is this a replacement roof for a Z06, or a targa roof for normal cars? Are these the same roofs sold on ebay that are just the RKSport covers glued onto stock frames?

No its not the RK roof. Not sold on ebay.

Shipping is very reasonable too.
I'm not sure what you bought in 2011, but I can tell you what you would be purchasing here...
This roof is not done in the cheaper wet lay fashion which most companies do. This roof uses pre preg carbon & an autoclave process (which is the same material/process used for the ZR1, Ferrari...etc ) More time consuming and costly but creates a structurally & aesthetically beautifully part.
Considering the GM ZR1 Carbon roof (non removable) goes for somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000. The $1700 we have is pretty good.
