diagnosis please? brake pedal vibrating when braking with steering wheel turned
I noticed yesterday that when I'm making a sweeping semi-sharp curved turn at the exit ramp from my workplace, if I am trail-braking into it (there is a straight before the turn and I build up some speed on the straight), at some point the brake pedal suddenly vibrates with a severe mechanical sensation that is really *wrong*. My car has 7,000 easy miles on it, no evidence it has ever been tracked, and other than this one scenario, the brakes work fine (other than occasionally squeeking as I come to a stop).
Thoughts?

When I've had a pulsating brake pedal, it's always been a warped rotor(s). However, it pulsated whether I was going straight or turning. Sudden cooling of the disks like hitting water after using the brake can warp them.

Ok, your brakes are done and cooked. Your rotors are warped .
Get new brakes buddy. Best thing is replace your rotors, new pads and you are good .
I had the exact symptoms, did new brakes . $ 550,00 total. ( glad I don't have a bemmer or a P car )

X3 for the ABS. At 7000 miles, highly unlikely your brakes are done. I have 24000 miles on mine, not all easy miles, they're still fine. Does it vibrate any where else other than this particular exit ramp - if not your brakes are probably fine.

No, the brakes (brake pedal) don't vibrate anytime else other than this one situation.
So I guess it's ABS then? Seems a bit weird, because this car is designed to be tracked and this situation (trailbraking) should be a regular occurrence on a track. It's not like I'm braking super hard or drifting the car or causing the active handling to kick in.

Is your car a wide body? folks complain of just that with the GY tires, the tread gives that feeling.
you may also want to check your axle nuts and wheel bearings.
lastly, some folks have also been having issues with steering racks on new cars.

I believe there was a bulletin about installing a plastic clip underneath the steering column area for the ABS "signal" ??? for the C6 corvette. I had it done on mine a while back. Let us know what you find OP.
