These "dated" comments are funny. I think some people just wanted to see something different, and would have jumped at pretty much any new design. I'm in the demographic GM is looking for, and I don't see how one can look at that C7 and think it looks better than the Grand Sport. It's over designed and awkward looking. The more I look at it, the more I find I don't like. Except for the seats. I take those over the C6.

OP, your car looks much nicer

IMO
Most of the C7 design is tacky and juvenile. The chrome grill strip adds to it's adolescense. The ride height looks stupid and the rear end is ridiculous. The rear end is so bad it almost makes it embarrassing to own any vette because they now will share the came name.
To the OP, your GS SMOKES the C7 in styling. Not even the same league.
I had a '12 GS and they are great cars. I traded it for a 13' 427 when I first saw the intial renderings of the C7. A Corvette was the first car I ever bought and I have owned them all my life. I figured a Corvette would be the last car I ever bought. I'll never buy a C7 that looks like this one. Seeing them together drives the point home.

Stingray
I may upgrade to C7 Z06 in two years. "Living the American Dream in Europe"

It's funny how most people in this pictures are standing next to and admiring the C6Z06.

Thanks for all the comments. Like I said and few others have said the C7 is not for them. On the other hand some people love the C7. I was just lucky enough to get to take some pics of my car next to the C7. If you get a chance to go to a AMLS race GO.....they have the C7's their in a few colors. The race in WI blue, white, yellow, green, and silver C7s were on hand. (not sure of the official color names list above). I believe the green was called lime rock gree. Kicking myself for not taking some pictures of the other color cars to post. Race in Austin, Texas in Sept.go check it out nothing like hearing the C6.R exhaust going around the course.

I'll keep my GS. The C7 doesn't do it for me yet. Maybe after I see a few but not for now.

I almost had a heart attack when I spotted the gold Chevy bow tie symbol on the back because I had never noticed it before. Then I realized that was on the license plate. Whew!

I'm getting used to the tailights on the C7, but way too much black on the rear-overall, I'm liking the C7 more as time goes by.
