Official Garage Queen Thread
If folks tell you that you don't drive your Corvette enough, you may have a "Garage Queen".
If people criticize you for having 1,200 miles on your '06 'vette, and 1,500 miles on your lawn tractor, you may have a garage queen.
If you're cleaning out your garage, lookin' for that one special fishin' pole that you haven't seen in years, and you find a Corvette, you may have a garage queen.
Personally, I get tired of folks, tellin' me how much I should drive my car!
I took delivery of my "Silver Bullet", as my son likes to call it, on February 24, 2013. Today the clock shows 1,376 miles, so I guess I'm heading for about 3,000 miles for the year.
Any daily driver who doesn't like that can eat my shorts.
I have a beautiful, large, heavy, and comfortable car for daily driving, shopping, vacations, etc. So I don't drive my '13 GS on rainy days, or when I know that parking will be a hassle, or I may be driving on dirt roads, etc.
I purchased my 'vette for two reasons...
1) To fulfill the dream of owning one, and then washing, polishing, and detailing it as much as I damn well please, keeping it garaged, and cruising just for fun.
2) To make it a gift for my grandson, when he graduates college in 5 years.
At that time, I'll buy a C7, and I'll be older, so I may drive it, even less.
The person who has the lowest verified mileage, on the oldest car, and also owns a garage, wins!
May the force be with you!
------------------------------------------
Here's "Bullet", in my garage, after detailing with a polymer spray...
Here's another in the great outdoors...

I think you may be making a mountain out of a mole hill.
I doubt anyone really cares how much or how little you may drive your personal car.
I just can't see how anyone would care.

If there is anyone else, who feels that driving your 'vette as little as you wish, is your own business, and no one else's, then post your comments, and photos, on this Official Garage Queen Thread!
And, may the force be with you!

Ooooh, sacroligious! Of course it matters....it absolutely matters. These forums, except for an occasional interruption for intelligent conversation, represent a bastion of expression for the bored, to express useless opinions.
And, if your gonna post a pic of your Silver Bucket , at least have your good wife in the pic so we are diverted from those black wheels...

I'm surprised, given the length of time in which you've been a member, that you haven't seen the hundreds of serious, negative comments, about people who don't drive their 'vettes as often as others think they should.

1) Nothing stated in another thread, is relevant to the current thread in which you're posting.
2) I've already PM'd a Mod, requesting you be banned for 5 days, for your constant black wheel insults!
3) Leave my wife outta this...

Saving it for your grandson is reason enough. I can't do that since my grandson is only 5 months old. The car would be an antique by the time he got out of college.
So I drive mine. I've had it 11 months and have put about 11,000 miles on it. I don't know how ... seems like I drive my compact truck more often. But I suppose not. I see no reason to save it for the next owner who I don't even know. Might as well enjoy my purchase and use it.

My Corvette is special to me and I treat it accordingly. Others are welcome to an opinion as soon as they start kicking in gas money!

That's the whole point of this thread,...why should anyone care?

I have seen the comments, but do NOT CARE.
Why would you care what people that you do not know on a car forum may think of your driving habits.
It must bother you or you would not have started yet another thread to see more negative comments.
Just like the hundreds of other threads, this thread will not resolve anything either, just asking for more of the same.
I hope you get the satisfaction you are looking for.
I do fall under the garage queen catagory.Actually my car does,I am not a queen.

That is also my point.

It must bother you or you would not have started yet another thread to see more negative comments. I started this thread as a joke, a jest, a little humor. Something that is sorely lacking in my opinion.
Just like the hundreds of other threads, this thread will not resolve anything either, just asking for more of the same. This thread was never designed to "resolve", anything, nada, it is just for fun.
I hope you get the satisfaction you are looking for. I already have, from everyone else. I sincerely hope that your post in not typical, or I have missed the mark on humor.

You must have missed my thread from yesterday OP. I personally don't care how others use their cars but as you can see a lot seem to have a problem with low usage.

I guess those that know me, will immediately recognize the thread is a parody on the guys who criticize, low mileage drivers. Those that don't know me may, unfortunately, take this thread seriously.

Garage queen here! Took delivery 14 months ago, June 2012 on my Z. 1050 miles on it now! I ride my bike to work so my DD doesn't even see the light of day very much. Bought this car to enjoy when I want to and keep a long time....
First time I laid eyes on her at the delivery inspection:

And Mr. Hameister do you know where the term Garage Queen originated from?
