Default Advice needed, car transporting

I'm moving to Las Vegas in a month or so and need advice on what transport company to use for 2 vettes and a Mercedes. Hoping to stay under 3k.

Hey, another new neighbor! Say hi when you get here.

We just discussed this in another thread yesterday if you want to look that one up.

Pretty much any of the reputable, enclosed transporters will be right at $1/mile/car. Some might give a tiny break for multiple cars but don't count on it. When I shipped 2 here last year they would only talk about $50 off, maybe, and ended up not discounting at all.

Intercity Lines is a Forum vendor and offers a discount but they are one of the higher priced ones to start with. There are many companies available though.

My son moved his Camaro from Cal. to Pa. 3 mo. ago.. The whole deal was flawless. They did all they said they would at a competitive price. He was thrilled with them.Really good Co. to deal with.......

I have used Exotic multiple times with zero issues. Always keep you informed where the car is while in transit. Like said above, runs around $1 per mile for enclosed.

We bought my wife an Audi R8 V-10 from Chicago in February and Intercity brought it to Vegas for us. All the companies we called were $1500ish/car (Intercity being the cheapest) & we were completely satisfied w/the Intercity experience.

Welcome to Vegas - see you @ 'Cars & Coffee' on a given Saturday morning (one block south of I-215 on Eastern)

Cheers

Default Try Plycar...I think you'll like 'em

I used Plycar for a flawless door to door NJ to FL enclosed vehicle transport delivery. Callaway, Tesla & Mike at Criswell all use them, so they must be doing something right. FWIW, called Intercity for an anonymous quote and after identifying myself as a forum member, wouldn't go lower than the initial figure, so I don't know where the forum discount was? Besides that, they were unable to provide me with a copy of their terms & conditions either.

I have used Exotic Car Transport based out of Orlando twice to ship cars long distance with great success and convenience.

Best quote I ever got to ship my vintage benz to cali was 2200.

Don't discount open carriers. Have shipped my vette 6 times, CT to FL., and back. Also originally from dealer in MI to Fl. Nary a problem. Only once did it need a wash after. I was originally quoted $1400 Fl to Ct closed, versus $800 open. Heck they are originally shipped open from BG to the whole country.

If you go open, just make sure the driver has a block of wood to transition the spoiler to the track. They all carry one for that reason. It will touch as it loads otherwise. No big deal. Your spoiler probably has hit the ground many times anyway.

You might just save a few bucks for the new drapes.

PS. If you go open, demand the upper rack. Particularly if you have a vert. You don't want anything dripping down.

Also, make sure you ask them to walk you through the whole process. My mother once shipped a car from Chicago to Phoenix and she took the cheap route. They transported it on a truck as far as Flagstaff and then some scumbag drove it the rest of the way. They gave her the car back with a lovely stench of cigarette smoke and some McDonalds wrappers in the back-seat as a bonus. Just be careful.

Here is Phoenix there is an extremely reputible compnay called Reliable Auto Transport. They do a first-class job but they probably won't be in the price range you are seeking.

NOT....You have alternatives to Exotic. Use one of them! These a$$holes accepted my booking and stood me totally up! Yup, a complete no show, and never once even returned my multiple phone calls.
