Default Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

Long story short, I crashed my 2011 GS and wanted a replacement. With the shortage of vehicles that matched my old car I thought about ordering a new C7. However, some of the options I wanted wouldn't be available in the initial release and I'd be at the bottom of a long list of buyers. After much searching and decision making I purchased a replacement.

Here is my original car:

This is what I have replaced it with:

OK, I know it's not a GS but it was the closest I could find without having to wait for a new C7 to be be built. Besides, things like my service manuals would still be good, as well as a few other pieces left from the GS. I also, won't have as many desired upgrades like I had with the GS.

It's unfortunate that's what you ended up with...Hope you are able to find some sort of consolation with it.

Wow! I jealous! I wonder how long it will take before a C7 is available that can keep up your ride?????

Those stripes on the front fenders can be purchased aftermarket.

Byron - Sweet ride! I love the VY color and the power in this Vette compared to the GS. There's no need for any upgrades ... drive it and enjoy!

Unfortunate, I'm sorry that you have to do without the GS.

You really need to get out more. That is NOT a replacement my brother, that is one seriously good looking upgrade!

Sweet Z!! It works much better with the carbon fiber roof than the C7 does anyway.
