Chevrolet Expands Presence at Corvette Funfest 2013
We are excited to announce that GM and Chevrolet will have an increased presence at the 20th Anniversary of Corvette Funfest this year! GM/Chevrolet representatives will be located in a large display area which will be filled with a fleet of C7 2014 Corvette Stingrays for guests to get an up close look at the new generation of Corvette. The team coming out to the event this year will include Art Spong, John Fitzpatrick, Bob Hughes, Ray Krawczyk, Lucy LaHood, Steve and Lucy Grilli, Ken and Lillian Mekolon, Tom and Liz Hill, Barb Armbruster, Josh Holder and Angela Benczik, Phil Minch and Dawn Cortese, Ben Ruhala, Veronica Mitchell and more! The group is putting together some brand new hands-on seminars which will be located in the exclusive GM/Chevrolet seminar area. Some of the seminar topics that will be presented throughout the weekend include:

and Elizabeth Hill
Design Seminar with Steve Grilli and Josh Holder
Walk Around with Tom Hill

FOLLOW UP ... Starts Tomorrow (Thursday) .... looks like a good show planned ... any more of you great folks going to be there? Where are you staying? We are about 40 miles north this year as we waited toooo long to get reservations.

We took 12 Vettes from the Club last year and have 5 going this year ... will be in Club Parking as "Cedar Valley Corvette Club" .. look us up if you are in the area.

I will be there. I live one hour away.
I am ready for the cruise Thursday night (rain permitting) and Saturday looks to have perfect weather. Premium parking this year for me. I am tired walking the back forty.

I'm ready! Registration done with premium parking. This is my first one and I'm looking forward to the thursday night cruise. Heading out tomorrow morning from Gurnee Illinois 4 hours away. EXCITED!!

I will be driving up there on Saturday along with a few club members....only 1.5 hours from O'Fallon, IL. Our club has about 52+ cars going. I'll be parking her in the club parking area...

Ok, from those already there .. . what is the weather report?

I was in Louisville today for a trade show. Plan to loop over for at least Friday afternoon on my way back to Tennessee. Weather channel starting to say lots of rain - yuck!

I live a hour from Effingham and was there Thursday night for the cruise event downtown. The weather was fine.*Forecast is 80% chance of rain on Friday, 10% Saturday and 0% sunday. You need a smartphone.
