CF Members Kicked Some *** At Vettes On The Rockies! - Lots of Pics
Put Vettes on the Rockies on your Bucket list. VettesnJeeps, PhilEaglesFan, and I met up at the event, and took home some awards. PhilEaglesFan took home 3rd Place in the C6 GS, Z06, and ZR1 Class with a score of 103 out of a possible 107 points. To show you how keen the competition was; I had a score of 105 out of 107 points, and only finished in 4th place in the Base Model C6 category. The first three spots were taken by cars which scored 106 out of 107. I didn't stick around to see if VettesnJeeps took home anything. I hope he did. Here are some photos:

And the C7's were there:

Excellent pictures
On the list for next year without fail. Could you post the C7 pictures in the C7 section ? The one with the cargo divider is a first.

I was surprised I placed as I drove 500 miles the day before to get to the show. My 8 year old "navigator" and I are touring Colorado till Monday before we head back to Utah. I'll go to this event every year I can now. The state is beautiful and most people are nice.
C7s were nice. I still love my C6 though. The seats provide more track support, bolsters and front material looks like a carry over from the C6. It seems like less room inside though. The partition is a real good idea. Engine sounds good, not sure about the tail lights.
I can also tell you the Michelin Super Sports are great in the rain. Awards are cool. I'll post a picture when I get home. Generally it is a C6 diecast model on top of a piece of granite.

I saw Vettes from 18 different states there.

White is my favorite color on most cars, but not on the C7. If and when I buy one, it will have to be a dark color to help downplay all the vents and the lower half of the rear end. I want to love this car so bad, but I just can't get passed the rear.

There was a lot of real nice Vettes there today. Some real good representations from all generations. One of my favorite was a C1 that was purchased I think in the 1980s for $150. Yes that is a 3 digit number. I don't know what it is worth today bit I'm guessing high 5 digits at least.

Great show pics. Thank you for sharing.
That C7 is startig to grow on me, those were some of the best pics I have seen of it. I saw a a tip of a C3 back end in one of the shots .
Glad it went well for you.
