By the time 1974 rolled around, I had owned 3 Vettes - '66, '67 and a '73.
Bought the C5 two years ago, and just bought the 427 at age 64.

73 and still able to crawl in and out of the Vette. Bought a '63 at age 23 and am now on my 7th one.

I purchased my first, a '62 340 hp roadster when I just turned 18
and we just purchased number seven as I creep up on 67 years old. Here's the change from our '08 to the new 427 convertible.
My '66 coupe was Corvette number three and is still part of the automotive harem in our garage. There will always be a Corvette parked in our garage.

1st Vette at 50 (now 53), but owned muscle cars since 16 with a 69 Mustang 390/4CV the first, and several Trans Am's in between.
I don't see Vettes as an old guys car, it's just progress
