Pictures are too big to post
I took the pictures with my phone. They see to be 2mb or bigger and won't load.
Any way to make them smaller?' The wife took some also and some were small enough to post.
The wife made the comment shortly after things calmed down about when I get another one it had to be Automatic again so she can sill drive it.
Nothing better than a good woman standing with you in life!

P.S. Do you think a good detailer can fix it up with a little lax and touch up paint?

Ouch!
Look's like I'll be taking the '93 Ruby vert to Carlsile this year. It's going to be tough because the '07 had a trunk and even though it was small you'd be surprised how much stuff I could manage to shoehorn in to it!
geewez,
Yep, it was like a slow motion bad dream. The scary part was seeing the woman not getting out of the SUV. I was more concerned about her. I'll either get the car fixed, or if I'm lucky and they total it I'll be getting something else. The Queen has already raised her magic wand and said it is so!

Safety Car
First and foremost you guys are okay, the car is replaceable.
Make sure you refer to diminished value when dealing with the ins. company, assuming the damage is close to a total force their hand in making sure it's a total. Good luck with the outcome.

It's a pain indeed, but you're reacting the right way.
No one got hurt (hopefully) and chances are you'll get your car replaced, I'd be surprised if it's not totaled.
Raising your blood pressure wouldn't rewind the movie anyway....
Best of luck with proving the insurance company it's not all your fault.

At least the car show was very good!
That would have been bad. It's not my only car (or Vette) so it's just the hassle. I felt really bad for the guy in the Jeep. He walked up with his family while all the fire trucks, cops and spectators were standing around. He was very pissed off. When I introduced myself, I made sure I pointed out I was the car in front of him, not the one behind him.
What made everything worse was that I had a full tank of gas and a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport ZP's with less then 100 miles on them.
