I have a 2010 Grand Sport (LS3). The only exhaust mod I have is the B&B Fusion Cat Back Exhaust.

Will the Kooks Headers/Cats/Crossover bolt directly to the B&B's with no match-up problems?

Does your B&B Fusion include the full B&B x-pipe? Most Fusion systems are only over the axle exhausts, in which case the Kooks System with x-pipe would hook up with no issue.

If you do have the B&B x-pipe as well (that hooks up to your factory cats) you would likely have some fabrication work to do. The Long tubes from Kooks go past the factory cat connection pipes. Thanks!

Just the B&B Fusion over-axle pipes. Sounds good. Christmas present to myself! I'll be giving you a call when I have the funds... pretty close!

The header coating will protect and keep the heat down. Some get it for that reason, others will get it purely based on the aesthetics and the rest just stick with the stainless steel. Give us a call if you have any further questions, 443-730-9428. Thank you!

I'm glad you asked this question for I too am looking at doing headers in the spring on my 427. I am going to do as much research as I can on header brand selection due to the following.
Kook LT seem to be the most popular, highest rate of install and great reputation.
AR (American Racing). Great rep too. So what is biggest difference?
Melrose. My mechanic's top choice for C6 installs. I believe due to the fact they are true bolt on (no modification etc... i.e. eay of installtion) Certainly less popular (which isn't a bad thing. Probably because they do not advertise as much).
I would, however, like to speak to the guys at MS and discuss in greater detail.
For now I am going to maintain the stock exhaust and replace at a later time. I think it sounds fine.
I already have a custom tune and Halltech CAI installed so the headers will make a nice addition to the already potent LS7. You see I'm a naturally aspirated guy.

Can you post before and after dyno results for Kook headers on an LS3?

Are these headers legal in California and do they have an EO stamp? Also, would these headers fit on stock ls3 that has the optional duel mode npp exhaust?
